The PCSX2 build is a PlayStation 2 emulator available for Windows PC. Many users have downloaded the program so they can enjoy the PS2 format on their home computers and load free ROM files for an endless number of games. However, the PSP has the capability to use the PCSX2 program as a PlayStation emulator. With a few simple steps, you can enjoy all of your favorite PS2 games on the go.

Turn on your PSP and wait for it to load to the “Home” menu.

Plug your memory stick into the PSP's memory stick slot.

Scroll through the menu bar on the PSP until you come to the “Setting” section. Press “X,” scroll down to “USB Mode” and press “X” again.

Plug the small end of your PSP data cable into the top of the PSP console. Plug the regular USB end into an available USB port on your computer.

Click on the “Start” menu in the lower left hand side of your computer screen. Click “My Computer” from the choices and wait for the “My Computer” icon to pop up.

Find the “PSP” icon within this window and double click on it. Minimize the window from the left hand tab at the top of the window.

Go to your Internet browser’s icon on your desktop. Double click the icon to gain access to the Internet.

Download the “PCSX2 0.9.4” Windows build (see References link). When the small window pops up, save the program to your “Desktop” by clicking the drop-down menu at the top and selecting “Desktop."

Press “OK” at the bottom of the download screen and wait for the application to download.

Bring the “PSP” window back up from your menu bar at the bottom of the screen. Click the “PSP” folder and then click on the “Game” folder.

Go back to your desktop and click on the “PCSX2” icon that downloaded. Drag the icon into your “Game” folder and wait for the application to transfer.

Click the “Start” menu and go to “My Computer.” Locate the “PSP” icon and right click it. Select “Eject” from the choices and wait for the PSP icon to disappear.

Go to your PSP and press the “Circle” button to exit out of “USB Mode”.

Scroll through the media bar on your PSP to find the “Game” folder. Press “X” and find the “PCSX2” file. Highlight it and press the “X” button again to run the program.

Warnings
