How to Use Tissue Paper in a Gift Box

Colorful tissue paper can add to the presentation of a gift.

The presentation of a gift is sometimes just as important as the gift itself. When a gift is thrown into a plain bag, it shows a lack of effort. By taking the time to pick a beautiful gift box and coordinating tissue paper, you are showing that you care. Use tissue paper with purpose or it can look cluttered.

Things You'll Need

• Gift box
• Gift
• Tissue paper

Instructions

1. Take the top off the gift box.

2. Place one sheet of tissue paper in the center of the gift box. If the gift box is big, place two sheets of tissue paper in the box.

3. Maneuver the paper so that equal parts of paper hang over the sides of the gift box.

4. Put the actual gift in the box, on top of the tissue paper.

5. Fold the excess tissue paper that hangs over the sides into the box, so it covers the gift.

6. Place the lid of the gift box back on.
