How to Make Stress Balls With Rice
Stress is caused by any variety of factors such as deadlines at work or school, problems with money or even a lack of sleep. A person suffering from stress might experience anxiety or a general uneasy feeling. Those seeking relief often turn to doctors who suggest exercise, meditation and sometimes prescription medications in severe cases. Consider making a stress ball to help combat the anxiety and return to your normal self.

1
Buy a small, round balloon to use as your stress ball. Balloons made out of thicker latex will hold up better when squeezed, so use the thickest balloon that you can find. Use a balloon with a color or pattern that you find pleasing and will enjoy keeping within sight on your desk or another area.
-
2
Inflate the balloon until it is about halfway full, then pinch the end of the balloon with your fingers to hold the air in.
-
-
3
Insert a funnel into the balloon, pinching the balloon below the funnel so no air escapes.
-
4
Pour dried rice into the funnel, then slowly release your pinch on the balloon. Allow the rice to fill the balloon until it is the size you desire. Most people find that a stress ball about 3 inches in diameter works the best.
-
5
Remove the funnel and let out any air that remains in the balloon. If there is air left in the balloon, squeezing it could cause it to rupture.
-
6
Tie the end of the balloon securely. Your homemade stress ball is ready to use.
