If you like to keep track of your activities and appointments, then you probably like to use a monthly calendar. Although you can buy a monthly calendar at any card store or supermarket, you can also make your own monthly calendar at home using basic craft materials. Making your own calendar can allow you to save money and design the grid squares of the calendar as large or as small as you require for your activities and appointments.

  • Card stock
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Pencil
  • Stapler

Instructions

    • 1

      Cut out 12 sheets of card stock to measure 10 inches high and 12 inches long.

      Arrange the card stock rectangles so that they lay horizontally on a table.

      Draw a grid onto each sheet, making the grid seven columns long, five rows deep.

    • 4

      Write the name of each month at the top of the sheets in the order that they appear during the year.

      Write the days of the week underneath the month, placing one day of the week into each of the top grid squares.

    • 6

      Write the dates into their respective grid boxes.

    • 7

      Stack the sheets in order, and staple them together along the top of the calendar.
