Instructions

  1. Glitter Silk Flowers

    • 1

Stand the silk flower bush upright in a vase or container.

    • 2

Squirt a few teaspoons of white glue into a small throwaway plastic cup. Dip the tip of a soft-bristled brush in the glue.

    • 3

Rub the glue, using the brush tip over the edges of the flower petals.

    • 4

Sprinkle 1/3 cup of glitter in a plastic bowl. Swirl the glue flowers in the bowl, grabbing up the glitter.

    • 5

Stand the flowers up in the vase and allow the glue to dry for at least an hour.

    Glitter Painting

    • 6

Print your favorite digital shot on picture paper. Choose a picture with a single image and a simple color scheme.

    • 7

Pour different colored glitters into small cupcake liners. Set them on your worktable. Cupcake liners make pouring and controlling the glitter easier.

    • 8

Lay your printed picture on a place mat. This protects your table from spilled glue.

    • 9

Squirt glue, one section at a time onto the picture.

    • 10

Pour the glitter onto the glue. Do not pour from too far away. Stay close to the picture. When you complete one section, glue and glitter the next.

    • 11

Allow the picture to lie flat until it dries, about an hour.
