How to Make a Vending Machine Logo

Vending machines, dispensaries issuing everything from candy bars to underwear, are found in every type of setting, from schools to offices to amusement parks. If your company builds, services, fills or promotes vending machines, you may want to create a way to “brand” yourself by using a logo. Logos are graphical files that become associated with a company or organization, creating recognition. Use your computer’s Paint graphics software, which comes included with your installation, to create a vending machine logo.

Instructions

    • 1

Open Paint, click the “Image” menu and select “Attributes.” Set your preferred logo dimensions, such as 3 inches by 3 inches, and click the “OK” button. Pull down the “View” menu, click “Zoom” and select “Large Size.” This increases your workspace so you have more room to draw.

    • 2

Click the “Paintbrush” tool, select the small square brush head and choose a dark paint color from the “Color Picker” at the bottom of the screen. Draw the frame of a vending machine, including the legs.

    • 3

Click the “Pencil” tool, select a new paint color and draw a small object such as a candy bar in the machine; use the “Magnifier” tool to zoom in close. Since you’re working with a small space, even just a small colored circle will look like a product in the machine. Switch paint colors and draw more objects in the machine until the machine appears full.

    • 4

Decorate your vending machine. Switch back to the “Paintbrush” tool and select a slash mark brush head. Select an orange paint color and draw flames surrounding the machine. Other options include blue waves or multi-colored swirls.

    • 5

Click the “Text” tool, which looks like an “A,” and click your cursor under the drawing of the vending machine. Select an eye-catching logo text, such as Century Gothic or Copperplate Gothic, and type your company name or a slogan, such as “Vanya’s Vending,” “Max’s Machines” or “Vending Machines Unlimited.”

    • 6

Select a new paint color and click the “Ellipse” tool, which looks like a gray circle. Draw a circle encompassing the drawing and text, giving it a rounded frame.
