Instructions

    • 1

Shut off the power to the room where you will be installing the fan by turning off the breaker at the circuit panel.

    • 2

Climb up the ladder and remove the existing light fixture from the ceiling. Pull the light fixture out to expose the electrical wires.

    • 3

Unscrew the wire covers for each wire and then separate the connected wires. Remove the ground screw from the bracket with the screwdriver and then set the old light fixture aside.

    • 4

Find and remove the screws that are used to secure the old electrical box with the screwdriver. Pull the electrical box down from the ceiling and then remove the screws that hold the cable clamp in place.

    • 5

Attach the plastic anti-short bushing (included with the fan) around the electrical wire. This will prevent the wires from getting cut by any sharp edges.

    • 6

Insert the electrical cable through the fan box. Insert the fan box into the hole in the ceiling and attach it with screws using the power drill.

    • 7

Connect the electrical wires together. Twist together the black wires and then insert a wire cover over the wires. Twist together the white wires and cover them with a wire cover. Attach the ground wire to the ground screw on the fan box.

    • 8

Push the canopy of the fan up to the ceiling and attach it with screws to the fan box using the screwdriver. Attach the blades to the fan to complete the installation.

Tips & Warnings
