Popsicles are a sweet treat and a craft supply.

Popsicle sticks make terrific craft supplies. First you eat the Popsicles and then you make something with the sticks. That’s a perfect combination for a summer afternoon. A neighborhood gathering or day camp session combining this snack and craft will be a big hit with youngsters, who can top off the day by flying their Popsicle stick airplanes around the yard. This is an inexpensive and uncomplicated project that also teaches children the basic theories of aerodynamics.
