How to Download a Picture Program From a Canon PowerShot A590

Insert the USB data cable into the USB port on your Canon PowerShot A590. Insert the opposite end of the cable into one of the USB ports on your computer.

Power on the Canon PowerShot A590 and set it to "PlayBack" mode.

Click "Start" and "Computer" and double-click the removable device icon. The computer detects the camera as a storage device, and a window appears with all the images saved on the memory card, including the program.

Double-click the program icon. An installation wizard appears on your screen. Accept the license agreement, leave the installation name and location as it is and click "Install," and the Canon PowerShot A590 programming installs onto your computer.
