How to Make Glass Cleaner With Vinegar

Make your own glass cleaner using vinegar.

Many glass cleaning products found in the grocery store are not effective when it comes to cleaning the glass, as you want to find an item that leaves no streaks or film behind when dry. When you have a glass surface such as a window, table or mirror, the smallest streak becomes very noticeable, making it important to use an effective cleaner. Vinegar works well in this instance.

Things You'll Need

• Spray bottle
• Vinegar
• Water
• Lint-free cloth

Instructions

1. Fill a spray bottle with a vinegar and water solution, using 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water.

2. Spray the mixture onto your glass surface, and cover the area with a light coat of the vinegar spray.

3. Wipe the glass with a lint-free cloth, using large circular wipes.

4. Continue until all residue is removed, and when the glass air dries you are left with no streaks or film.
