How to Make Candy Jewelry
Making candy jewelry is a great activity for a birthday party or sleepover. Kids tend to love making anything with candy. It's colorful and delicious, and makes a great party favor. Making jewelry out of candy that already has holes in it is easiest, but you can also poke holes through softer candy.
Things You'll Need
- Toothpicks
- Scissors
- Plastic lacing
- Plastic bowls
- Lifesavers
- Twizzlers
- Gumdrops
- Gummi Bears
- Jelly beans
- Mini-marshmallows

Divide the candy into bowls.

Cut the Twizzlers into 1/2-inch pieces. Poke a hole in each Gummi Bear, jelly bean, marshmallow and gumdrop with a toothpick.

Cut a length of plastic lacing long enough to fit around the wrist or over the head of the wearer.

Knot the lacing at one end. Use one of the smaller-holed candies to begin your string of candy jewelry so it won't slide off.

Lace different candies onto your string or use all of the same kind of candy. When you've finished adding candy, make a knot at the end of the string.

Tie the ends together.

Tips & Warnings
To make your candy jewelry completely edible, you can use shoe string licorice to string it together.
Make your own rock candy and turn it into a pendant for your necklace.
Tape the ends of a length of candy dots together to make a candy crown or bracelet.
