Upload music to your car's stereo.

Most vehicles now being produced, including sport-utility vehicles, have a stereo system with a built-in hard drive. This allows you to download your favorite music from a flash drive onto the device and play the music later, without constantly connecting an outside MP3 player. The connection process does not take long, and every audio file from the flash drive is downloaded to the hard drive.

Instructions

    • 1

Insert the USB flash drive into the USB port on the SUV's stereo system. All stereo systems with a built-in hard drive have USB data ports.

    • 2

Power on the car stereo and set the stereo to the "USB" connection. Momentarily the stereo asks you (through the digital display) if you want to upload the songs to the hard drive.

    • 3

Choose "Yes" and the stereo begins to rip the songs from the USB flash drive to the hard drive. The digital display showcases the song currently uploading.

    • 4

Disconnect the USB flash drive once the digital display states it has finished uploading files. Choose the hard drive option on the stereo system, and music is then selected just like an MP3 player.
