Capcom's PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 downloadable-game "Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix" puts a new spin on the 1990s classic "Super Street Fighter II Turbo." Its enhanced visuals feature high-resolution artwork by the comic book art collective UDON, who is also responsible for the popular Street Fighter comic books. Like the original game, players can unlock the character Akuma either as a secret boss or as a playable character.

How to Unlock Akuma as an Opponent

Play through "Arcade" mode, beating every regular without being defeated (or having to select "Continue").

Play until you reach the final boss, M. Bison, within 20 minutes. If successful, Akuma will replace M. Bison before the match begins.

Defeat Akuma to win the game.
How to Play as Akuma in Classic Mode

Access the character-selection screen in "Classic" mode.

Move the cursor to highlight each of the following characters for two seconds or more: Ryu, T. Hawk, Guile, Cammy and Ryu.

Press "Start" and each "Punch" button quickly, while highlighting Ryu. His image should change to that of Akuma.
How to Play as Akuma in Arcade or Versus Mode

Select "Arcade" or "Versus" mode from the menu screen.

Go to the character-selection screen and highlight Guile (in "Arcade") or E. Honda (in "Versus"), and move the cursor up to reveal the option to select Akuma.
