How to Submit an Infomercial Idea
An infomercial is a a long commercial promoting the sale of a product. Inventors sometimes hire production companies to produce an infomercial for their product. A production company can choose at will to take on or not take on your product, so you would initally submit your idea for consideration. The production company should feel comfortable with your product and the promises that you make about your product before they can help you sell it.

1
Contact experienced infomercial production companies and have a consultation over the phone. For example, call companies like as Infomercial Development.com, Marcummedia.com and Infomercialhitmakers.com.
-
2
Explain your product briefly and talk about how much scientific evidence you have to support the claims of the product, such as clinical trials and whether or not you have any testimonials. Ask the company how much experience they have in dealing with products like yours. For example, if you have a health and beauty product, you will want to stick with a company that has experience with such products as opposed to a company that habitually produces infomercials about home gadgets and hardware.

3
Explain if you want a long or short-form infomercial and whether or not you would like any extras such as a celebrity host, a hired doctor to endorse the product or 3D graphics and animation. Also talk about how much money you are willing to spend. The production company may agree immediately, may ask for time to consult with others and then get back to you, or ask you if you can supply more clinical studies or testimonials.
