How to Increase the Download Speed in Bitcomet 1.07
When you download files using BitComet, the program is automatically configured to only download at a certain maximum speed. This is done to make sure that BitComet isn't taking up all of your Internet connection's available bandwidth. Increasing this maximum speed can increase the overall speed of your downloads. You can make this change by configuring a setting in BitComet's "Options" menu.

Open BitComet (if you have not already done so).

Click the "Options" drop-down menu.

Click "Preferences."

Click "Bandwidth."

Change the value listed under "Maximum Download Rate" to a higher number. Each number you enter is the equivalent to a kilobyte per second, so entering "10" would mean your maximum download rate becomes "10 kilobytes per second." Entering "0" will allow you to have an unlimited download rate, which means BitComet will download a file as fast as it possibly can. Click "OK" to save changes.
