How to Photo Snap a Screen
Whether you are creating a program tutorial or you found something on the Internet that you want to preserve, there is a way to save the image on your screen. This process is called Print Screening and is built into computer operating systems to allow anyone to dump a snapshot of their computer into a photo-editing program so that it will be saved. This process is highly effective and works in all programs, including video games.

Choose the screen of which you want to take a photo snap.

Press the "Print Screen" button beside the "Scroll Lock" button. Your keyboard may use the abbreviation "Prt Scrn."

Open an image-editing program. Go to "Edit" at the top, and select "Paste." The screenshot you took will now be pasted into the program.

Save the file by going to "File" and clicking "Save." Save it to wherever you want on your computer.

Tips & Warnings
If you are taking a screenshot of a web browser, the "F11" key will make the screen full size, removing the status and file bars.
You can only copy one screenshot at a time.
