How to Make a Dating SIM
"The Sims," a role-playing computer game, allows users to create their own characters and build homes. Personalized Sims have the ability to interact with other pre-made characters in a realistic manner. When creating your own Sim, you can give her characteristics that allow her to date other Sims freely. By not creating a spouse for the Sim, you can forge relationships down the road with acquaintances your Sim will meet. The fun in the game is embedded within the opportunity to create a virtual life, with only the restriction of your imagination.

1
Do not link your character to another Sim in your family while you are in "Create-a-Sim" mode. While making a family in "The Sims 2" and "The Sims 3," the game gives you the ability to click and drag Sims' thumbnails to forge relationships.
-
2
Create an adult Sim (as opposed to a young adult or teen). There are more pre-made adult Sims in the game for you to date. You will also run into trouble as your Sim ages-- adults cannot date teens, and so forth.

3
Talk to all of your neighbors that walk past your Sim's house and visit town lots to make several acquaintances. Maintain friendships you forge by calling Sims and inviting them over. This will help your Sim develop romantic relationships quicker.

Tips & Warnings
To avoid any stressful situations for your Sim, avoid engaging in more than one relationship at a time. Your housemates will frown upon it, and if you are caught cheating, it will cause emotional stress for all of the characters involved.
