It is an easy job to connect a DVD player to a DirecTV receiver.

DirecTV is a satellite dish service that includes high-definition (HD) and digital video recorder (DVR) features. There are many different channel packages and special feature bundles that you can purchase for your DirecTV account. When you are setting up your DirecTV receiver for the first time you can connect your HD DVR receiver directly to your television or connect the receiver to your DVD player. The process includes using two different sets of audio-visual (AV) cables.
