How to Make a Fake Wine Bottle Label

Open the image manipulation software on your computer. Here you will alter and move the images you would like to use on your wine label. You can take pictures using a digital camera and write on them or alter the images using your software. You can also scan pictures, documents and even other wine labels onto your scanner and alter them using your software. Images may also be downloaded from the Internet or pulled from a clip art gallery. Arrange the image as you would like them to appear on your label.

Spray the polyurethane coating onto one side of the label and allow it to dry. Then spray the other side and allow it to dry. This will protect the ink on the label and keep it from running as condensation runs down the bottle. Be sure the label is flat.

Glue the label to the bottle. Use the card to smooth the label onto the bottle. Push the edge of the card along the label so the glue adheres evenly.
