Installing a power flush toilet is no different than installing a standard toilet. The difference between the two types is mainly within the tank itself, which is designed to flush with great force in a power flush toilet. It's also best to purchase a toilet installation kit, which contains everything that you will need to install your new power flush toilet and can be found at most hardware stores. Instructions

    • 1

Set the wax ring with the curved edge into the large opening on the bottom of your toilet bowl.

    • 2

Place the floor flange bolts under the closet flange in the floor with the threading facing up. These bolts help to secure your toilet to the drain.

    • 3

Set your toilet onto the closet flange, having the floor flange bolts pass through the two small holes on either side of the bowl's base.

    • 4

Tighten the floor flange bolts with a wrench, locking the toilet in place.

    • 5

Place the toilet tank on top of the toilet bowl, making sure the tank-to-bowl gasket is between the tank and the bowl. The tank-to-bowl gasket stretches across the tank's outlet hole and both of the tank-to-toilet bowl bolts, which keep the tank in place.

    • 6

Set the tank-to-bowl bolts into the holes in the bottom of the tank and thread on the nut on the bottom side of the toilet tank, securing the tank in place.

    • 7

Thread the larger plastic end of your supply line to the small nipple on the underside of the toilet tank. Screw the other end of the toilet's supply line to the shut-off valve directly behind the toilet. You should wrap a piece of plumber's tape around the shut-off valve's threads before screwing on the supply line.

    • 8

Flush the toilet, making sure there aren't any leaks.
