How to Fix a Paper Jam in a Dell V305 Printer

Grasp the paper firmly and gently pull it straight out.

Lift the scanner base unit if the paper is not visible or cannot be reached.

Pull the paper out of the printer carefully. Turn the printer off if the paper will not come out. Pull the paper out with the printer turned off.

Close the scanner base unit. Turn the printer back on and re-send the print job to the printer.

To prevent paper jams, make sure paper is properly loaded in the input tray. Avoid using torn, wrinkled or curled paper.

This appears to be a chronic problem for these printers. Unfortunately, I bought this printer because HP had the same problem.

it does tot take a wizard to fix a paper jam. the printer still just has another paper jam!
