How to Create an Eszet Using Computer Keyboard

The Eszett is one of the letters that exist in the German alphabet.

The Eszett, or ß, is a German character that represents an "ss" or "sharp s" sound in the German language. It is generally accepted that ß is a ligature that combines the letters f and z together. Today, the letter is still used in German spoken in Germany and Austria, among other places, but German-speaking countries such as Switzerland and Liechtenstein have reformed the language to abolish ß with the letters "ss." Since ß is still used in Germany, it is useful to know how to type the letter quickly using both Windows and Mac OS X operating systems.
