How to Buy International Stamps
Stamp collecting is a popular hobby practiced by a large number of enthusiasts. Some are relaxed hobbyists who only collect attractive stamps that they happen across while others are serious enthusiasts who study the intricate details of their stamps and aim for a complete collection. Your stamp collection could be limited to domestic stamps or it could include stamps from foreign countries. The United States Postal Service does not sell foreign stamps but you can purchase them from online retailers.

Tips & Warnings
You can collect the stamps on any foreign mail you receive. Tear off the section containing the stamp and place it, face down, in a shallow bowl of warm water. Wait for the stamp to separate from the paper and sink to the bottom. The USPS suggests that you wait for the adhesive to fall off the stamp before you pull it out with a pair of tongs. Place the stamp between two paper towels to dry and place a heavy object on top to keep it flat. Let the stamp dry overnight.
