How to Sell My Motorbike for Free

How to Sell My Motorbike for Free thumbnail
Use the Internet to your advantage when selling your motorbike.

Although the term "motorbike" is often used interchangeably with "motorcycle," a motorbike is a lightweight motorcycle with a low frame, small wheels and elevated handlebars. Some people call scooters, such those produced by Vespa and Honda, motorbikes as well. People who don't want the hassle or expense of owning and maintaining a car often ride motorbikes. College students and environmentally minded citizens also are a good target market, as motorbikes are usually fairly easy to keep up and get efficient gas mileage. If you have a motorbike to sell, you can easily do so for free.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you're unable to sell your bike, sell the parts individually on Craigslist or in the classifieds section of your local newspaper.

  • You can also sell your motorbike on eBay. Although the site charges listing and selling fees, you'll get maximum exposure for your bike.
