Make Your Own Phone Sock

Cell phone holders can be costly, and since they only serve to protect your phone from getting broken or scratched, a sock can serve the same purpose. A child's sock works great, but any size sock will do. If you're not much with a needle or thread or sewing machine purchase some strong glue meant for fabric at a craft store. Making a phone sock is quick and easy, and costs much less than a store-bought phone holder.

Things You'll Need

  • Sock (a child's sock size 4 is the perfect size, but any sock will do)
  • Scissors
  • Phone
  • Needle and thread or sewing machine
  • Strong craft glue (optional)

Instructions

    • 1

Lay your phone down on the sock to measure how big you need your phone sock to be.

    • 2

Cut the excess material off the bottom of the sock.

    • 3

Flip the sock inside out and stitch up the bottom with a needle and thread or sewing machine. If you can't sew, use a strong craft glue to bond the edges together.

    • 4

Turn the sock right side out.

Tips & Warnings

  • The socks are also good for holding iPods.
