How to Configure a Westell 6100 to Bridge Mode
Setting your Westell 6100 DSL modem to bridge mode can resolve connectivity issues between your router and modem by creating a "transparent bridge" between the two devices. The bridge allows data to be transferred between the modem and an assumed Media Access Control (MAC) address. Configuring your 6100 for bridge mode is simple enough that it won't require any networking experience.
