This makes it important to know how to properly clean the silverware, as you want to remove food, oils and tarnish from the silverware as it develops.   • Large skillet
  • Aluminum foil
  • Baking soda
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Soft polishing cloth

Instructions

      Line the bottom of a large skillet with aluminum foil.

      Fill the pan with hot water, and pour 1 tsp. baking soda and 1 tsp. salt into the pan.

      Bring the water to a boil on high heat, and place all silverware into the water. Let boil for 5 minutes.

      Let the water cool slightly, and remove the silverware from the skillet.

      Rinse the silverware with cold water, and polish clean with a soft, dry cloth.
