How to Make a Business Card in MS Word
A basic business card offers "a no-nonsense approach that can appeal to clients and prospects who would not be impressed by fancy design features," according to Entrepreneur magazine. It is easy to create business cards with MS Word using the Labels feature and pre-cut business card stock. The Microsoft Office website recommends using Avery brand business card paper with 2-inch by 3.5-inch cards.

In MS Word 2007, click on the "Mailings" tab, press the "Create" button and select "Labels." If you have MS Word 2003, go to the "Tools" menu, select "Letters and Mailings," click on "Envelopes and Labels" and click on the "Labels" tab.

In the "Address" text box, enter the details (including your business name, your name, business address, contact telephone number, email address, website if applicable) that you want your business card to display.

Review the spelling and information. Indicate that you want to print "Full page of the same label."

Press the "Options" button and select "Avery US Letter 8371." Press "OK."

Insert the business card paper in your printer's paper tray.

Go to the "Microsoft Office" button, select "Print," enter the number of sheets you want to print and press "OK." In MS Word 2003, stay in the "Label" window, press the "Print" button, enter the number of sheets you want to print and press "OK."
