Valentine's Day is synonymous with Valentine's Day cards, little notes sent to friends and loved ones to express your affection for them. A Valentine's Day card holder is a nice craft to make for this holiday, and it acts as a place to keep the cards you receive leading up to the big day. Instructions

    • 1

Draw a bear shape onto a piece of brown construction paper with a pencil. The bear should be about 8 inches tall and have a rounded body, rounded arms and feet, a circle head and two half-moon ears.

    • 2

Cut out the bear from the paper using scissors.

    • 3

Draw a bear face onto the cutout using crayons. The bear should have two circular white eyes with black pupils, a pink upside-down triangle nose and a big smile.

    • 4

Cut the top of a small paper lunch bag so that the bag is about 5 inches tall.

    • 5

Write the name of the recipient of the cards onto the front of the bag with a marker.

    • 6

Glue the bear to the back of the bag so it looks like the bear is holding on to the bag.

Tips & Warnings

  • Let kids help decorate the bag with hearts and stickers.

  • Thoroughly wash hands if any glue gets on your fingers.
