How to Turn Off Windows XP Virus Protection Warning
Antivirus software is an important part of keeping your computer running its best. If you use Windows XP, Windows Security Center will display alerts if it determines that you aren't using an antivirus program. This can be an annoyance, however, because if you are running an antivirus program that Windows doesn't recognize, it will keep sending you the alerts. Fortunately, there is a way to turn these alerts off. You can disable the alerts even if you aren't protected by antivirus software, but you should always have some sort of protection while connected to the Internet.
