How to Set Up a Wireless Router With a 2Wire DSL Modem
DSL stands for digital subscriber line and uses a typical phone line to carry data. The data is converted using a DSL modem into high-speed Internet. As a manufacturer of DSL modems, 2Wire produces modems that are either just modems or are modem/wireless router hybrids. The hybrid devices are already configured for wireless networks, but stand-alone modems require a wireless router in order for users to make wireless connection. Setting up a wireless router to the modem requires connecting the modem to the router, then configuring the wireless network.
