How Do I Download Grand Theft Auto onto My PSP?

Many things can be purchased online, including computer software and video games. Video game consoles such as the PlayStation 3 (PS3), PlayStation Portable (PSP), Wii and X-Box allow for online browsing from the console itself. That online browsing has now developed so that you can even purchase, download and install video games directly from your console. Grand Theft Auto, a video game series, can be downloaded onto your PSP without having to pay extra for the privilege using the PlayStation Network.

Instructions

1. Access the PlayStation Store via the PlayStation Network menu on the “Home” page of your PSP. The PSP’s “Home” is the page that appears when you power on your PSP and don’t have a UMD cartridge in the PSP, or when you click the “Home” button on your PSP. The PlayStation Network is located on the far right of the “Home” page.

2. Sign into Your PlayStation Network account. If you don’t already have a PlayStation Network account, you’ll have to create one. In order to create a PlayStation Network account that you can use to purchase video games such as Grand Theft Auto, you’ll need a valid email address, valid credit card information and provide your full name and date of birth. In order to sign into your PlayStation Network account, you’ll need to be connected to the Internet via the PSP’s Wi-Fi.

3. Browse through the PlayStation Store’s video game selections, or use the “Search” tool located on the top right of the screen to look for Grand Theft Auto games available for the PSP. The Grand Theft Auto games available for the PSP include \"Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories,\" \"Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories\" and \"Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.\"

4. Purchase the Grand Theft Auto game of your choice by clicking “Buy Now” and selecting “Confirm Purchase.” To click with the PSP, press the “X” button on the right side of the console. The game will start to download onto your PSP memory stick and install itself onto your PSP automatically once it’s done downloading. You must have enough available memory on your memory stick to fit the game in order for the game to download onto your memory stick.
