      Log onto Ventones and sign up to become a member. On the top left corner, click on "Create Free Ringtones." Upload your MP3 music file by clicking on "Choose File" and then click on "Upload Song." A window will pop up showing the upload's progress. When upload is done, the page will automatically go to the next step.

      Create your ringtone by first putting the song title and the artist's name in the field provided. You have an option to add a two-second fade at the beginning and end of the ringtone. You also can add treble, which will add more detail to the ringtone.

      Drag the white box to the desired part of the song you will like your ringtone to be. You can also change your ringtone's length. When finished editing, click on "Create Tone." Ventones will give you the directions on how to save your ringtone to the correct format, depending on what type of phone you have with Sprint.

    Mobile Reelz

      Go to Mobile Reelz to convert your MP3 music to a ringtone. In the first step there, click on "Browse" to upload your MP3 music. Wait until the upload is complete to move on to step two.

      Select the range of the song to be converted into a ringtone. Use the start and end buttons provided to select the area of the song you would like your ringtone to be. Be sure to keep your ringtone at 30 seconds or less.

      Title your ringtone and then choose the format of the ringtone your Sprint cell phone is compatible with. Select your mobile carrier, which is Sprint, and then put your cell phone number in the field provided. Select the genre of your ringtone and click on "Convert & Send."

    My Tiny Phone

      Sign up with My Tiny Phone to create free ringtones. Select "Browse" to upload your MP3 files, then click "Upload." Wait for the upload to complete.

      Use the start and end button to measure the duration of your ringtone. You can move the buttons so that they are at a specific part of the song. Once satisfied with your ringtone, click on "Get Your Tone." Add the artist's name, title and category. Click on "Get Your Tone" again, and then select "Download."

      Download your ringtone to your computer and save as a .QCP file. Send the ringtone to your Sprint cell phone by adding your number to the field provided. Then click on "Send To Phone."

Tips & Warnings

  • Not all Sprint ringtones are saved in the same format. It depends on what type of phone you have.
