Ending the PC Privacy Cleaners Process

1. Log into a profile that has administrative rights.

2. Right-click on the taskbar on the bottom of your screen, then click "Start Task Manager."

3. Click the "Processes" tab on the top bar of the Windows Task Manager.

4. Right-click on the pcpc.exe file.

5. Click the "End Process" button, then close out of the Windows Task Manager.

Deleting PC Privacy Cleaners Files

1. Click the "Start" button on the bottom left of the screen.

2. Click the "Computer" button.

3. Click your main hard drive; the standard is "Local Disc (C:)."

4. Open the "Program Files" folder.

5. Right-click on the "PcPrivacyCleaners" folder, then click "Delete."

6. Click on the "Common Files" folder located in "Program Files."

7. Right-click on the "PcPrivacyCleaners" folder and click "Delete."

8. Return to the root folder of your "Local Disc (C:)" hard drive.

9. Open the "Users" folder, then click on the main Windows profile.

10. Open the "Application Data" folder, then open the "Local" folder.

11. Open the "Microsoft" folder, then open the "Internet Explorer" folder.

12. Open the "Quick Launch" folder, then right-click on the "pcprivacycleaner.lnk" file and click "Delete."

13. Go to your desktop, then right-click on the "Recycle Bin." Click the "Empty Recycle Bin" button.

Delete PC Privacy Cleaners From the Registry

1. Click the "Start" button on the bottom left of the screen.

2. Click the "Search" button.

3. Type in "regedit" under the search tab and click the "regedit.exe" button.

4. Click on the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER" tab.

5. Click on the "Software" tab under "HKEY_CURRENT_USER."

6. Right-click on the "PcPrivacyCleaners" folder, then click "Delete."

7. Open the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" tab.

8. Click on the "Software" tab, then open the "Microsoft" folder.

9. Click on the "Windows" tab, then open the "Current Version" folder.

10. Right-click on the "run pcprivacycleaner" registry entry and click "Delete."

11. Restart your computer.
