How to Pay a Dell Bill Online

Pay for your computer online.

When purchasing a Dell computer or hardware, it is possible to buy the computer on a payment plan. This allows you to put money towards your computer every month (just like a car payment or loan). The Dell website has a designated page that allows you to pay your monthly bill right through the website, without using any third party programs or Internet pages.

Instructions

1. Open your Internet browser and navigate to the Dell payment website. From the main Dell website, click "Order Support" in the upper right corner. On the page that opens, click the green button under the "Home Users" option. The "Help Categories" page that opens has a category labeled "Payment & Taxes;" under this category, click "Pay Your Bill Online." The next page that opens has a section called Pay Your Bill Online;" click the link within this section to dell.com/dfs.

2. Type in your User ID and password in the "Log In" box of the page that opens. This logs you into your account where your previous payments are displayed. If this is your first time paying online, you may need to create a profile in the section immediately beneath the "Log In" box.

3. Choose "Pay Bill," then either select the current amount you owe or a different, higher amount (if you want to pay off the entire computer).

4. Enter your payment information. Dell allows online payments by credit card, PayPal, or via Dell Preferred Account.

5. Submit the payment and your money is processed on the Dell website.
