Instructions

    • 1

Lay the materials on a flat, clean surface. Measure a 4-inch wide, 3-foot long piece of felt from each of the rainbow colors. The color order is red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. Glue the felt onto the board from the bottom to the top.

    • 2

Apply glue to the back of the purple felt. Lay the purple stripe on the bottom of the corkboard, positioning it in place.

    • 3

Staple the edges into place. Place one staple on each end.

    • 4

Apply glue to the blue stripe and position it in place.

    • 5

Staple the edges into place. Place one staple on each end by pressing the stapler and releasing the staple into the corkboard.

    • 6

Continue to add the colors from the bottom up.

    • 7

Pick your favorite color from the rainbow. Measure 1-inch wide strips from the felt. The strips will go around the edge of the corkboard to give it a border and hide the staples. Start at the sides and glue them into place.
