Instructions
-
WU282 Will Not Drain
-
1
Go to the sink next to your WU282 and look under the sink for the connection tubes to the dishwasher.
-
2
Follow the tubes from your sink drain to the dishwasher. Sinks and dishwashers share the same drain. Make sure that there is not a kink in the drain tube or that it is not bunched at any place.
-
-
3
Open the door to the dishwasher, and pull the dish tray out of the unit. Remove the dishwasher strainer from the unit. This will be located at the bottom of the unit and will have small holes in it.
-
4
Clean the strainer with water and an all-purpose cleaner. Replace the strainer in the dishwasher.
-
5
Pour some drain cleaner down the sink drain. Wait for the amount of time recommended on the drain cleaner, then run hot water into the sink to flush it out. Since the two appliances share the same plumbing, a clogged sink can mean a clogged dishwasher drain.
