How to Enable Cookies in Windows Internet Explorer 2007
Cookies are information contained in a text file that contains personal information about your likes and dislikes on certain Internet website. They are present on your computer's hard drive within the Windows Internet Explorer 2007's (also known as Internet Explorer 7) directory. Certain websites require the creation of cookies to track your activity and preferences. When setting up Internet Explorer 2007, you can enable cookies for all websites or for specific websites. Once you enable cookies, the Internet browser will automatically search for the cookie and process the contents of the file.

Enabling All Cookies

Open Internet Explorer.

Click "Tools," "Internet Options." Click on the "Privacy" tab.

Move the slider under the heading "Settings" down. The wording "Accept All Cookies" will appear in the dialog box.

Click "Apply," "OK."
Allowing Specific Types of Cookies

Complete steps 1 and 2 in the "Enabling All Cookies" section.

Move the slider under the heading "Settings" to the "Low," "Medium," "Medium High" or "High" setting. A description of the different types of cookies will appear in the dialog box.

Move the slider under the heading "Settings" to the "Medium" setting. Click the "Sites" button.

Enter a website address in the box under "Address of website:." Click "Block" or "Allow." Click "OK" when you are done entering websites.

Tips & Warnings
If you want to return to Windows Internet Explorer 2007's factory settings, click the "Default" button within the "Internet Options" dialog box. Click "Apply," "OK" to accept the changes.
