How to Install a Building Management System

Building management software is used to monitor and control maintenance requests and operations. Building management software can also include security system management, power system control and lighting. Building management software is often used in office buildings, both public and private. Installing building management software can be achieved in approximately 10 minutes, and as of 2010 is the same operation across all current Windows operating systems.

• Building management software installation disc
• Software product key

1. Insert the installation disc into your optical drive. Your computer will automatically load the information due to the “Autoplay” function.

2. Click on the icon labeled “Install.”

3. Enter the product key. The product key is the unique code found on the disc cover or instruction manual. The product key is designed to prevent software pirating.

4. Select the directory where you would like to install your building management software, then click the “Next” button.

5. Wait for the installation to complete, then restart your computer to complete the operation.
