How to Replace an 5510 HP Office Ink Jet Cartridge
The HP Officejet 5510 All-in-One Printer is a printer for the home office or small business. It allows you to print, scan and copy documents and photographs. When you notice that your documents and images are not clear as they should be, it may be time to change the ink cartridge. This process takes about three minutes.

Turn on the printer.

Lift up the access door away from you. Wait for the carriage to stop. Press down on the cartridge. It will release from its compartment.

Slide the cartridge out of the compartment.

Take the new cartridge from its package. Remove the plastic tape on the bottom of the cartridge. Do not touch the portion of the cartridge that the tape was covering.

Insert the new cartridge into the compartment at a right angle. Slide it in so the back of the cartridge is lower than the front.

Close the access door.
