How to Use Clone DVD Mobile

How to Use Clone DVD Mobile thumbnail
Convert DVDs to have movies on the go.

Clone DVD Mobile is a DVD video converter that hosts many preset options for specific mobile devices, including the Sony PSP, Apple iPod and BlackBerry devices. For more general conversions, users may export their DVD movies to DivX, Xvid, AVI, or MP4 formats. Users may edit their DVDs by choosing specific chapters and can also adjust their video's "Target Size" (how large the converted file will be). Please note that some loss in quality may occur with some conversions, depending on the presets you choose.

Instructions

    • 1

Launch Clone DVD Mobile and insert a DVD you want ripped and converted into your disc drive.

    • 2

Choose the correct format for your converted video from the panel on the right that contains the program's preset options.

      Click "Next."

    • 3

Click the button on the far right of the "DVD Video File" field to enter a file browser window. Locate your DVD on your computer's hard drive and double-click the icon, revealing its two main folders.

Click on the DVD's "Video TS" folder and press "OK" to load your DVD in Clone DVD Mobile's configuration screen.

    • 4

Select the longest imported title (this is the feature movie) that has loaded on the right side of the screen. De-select the other titles (these are usually the menus or special features on a DVD).

Click the "Next" button, located in the bottom right of the screen.

    • 5

Choose any subtitle tracks you want included on your DVD, if necessary. Click "Next" to enter the "Output Method" screen.

Change your video's resolution, if desired. Consult your device's user manual for the correct resolution.
