How to Print Labels on a Sharp MX2300N

The Sharp MX2300N is a multifunction printer and copier you can use for a wide variety of printing projects. The MX3200N can print labels when label paper is loaded into the bypass tray. The printer needs to be configured to print on labels correctly. You can load up to 100 sheets of label paper in the bypass tray at a time. If more than 100 sheets of labels are needed, they should printed in groups of 100 pages at a time so you can reload the label paper between each job.

Instructions

1. Open the bypass tray by pressing the release tab near the top of the lid and pulling the lid down.

2. Adjust the bypass try guides on the right and left sides of the tray to the width of the label paper.

3. Insert the label paper sheets into the bypass tray along the guides all the way into the tray until it stops. Make sure the label side is facing down.

4. Press the "Job Detail Settings" key on the paper settings screen. Press "Paper Select."

5. Press the "Labels" key on the "Select the paper type" screen.

6. Press the key that corresponds to the correct paper size of the label sheets in the bypass tray. Press the "OK" button.

7. Start the print job from the computer to print the labels.
