Directions to Make Flaxseed Hot & Cold Therapy Pillow
According to Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, headaches and muscle aches can be soothed by the application of heat or cold. Using a natural therapy pillow is one way to apply heat or cold to your body. A therapy pillow that remains hot or cold for longer lengths of time will usually contain an organic substance that retains temperature, such as flaxseeds. You can make your own handmade flaxseed hot or cold therapy pillow by following a few simple instructions.
Things You'll Need

Instructions

1
Cut 1/4 yard of fabric to measure 6 inches wide by 16 inches long.

Place the pillow in a freezer for 20 minutes to chill it before applying it to the skin.
-
