Wash your face with mild soap and warm water. Gently pat dry. Wait 30 minutes before applying the Retin-A to your skin.

Massage a pea-size amount of the Retin-A onto your entire face in a thin layer. Avoid the delicate areas around your lips, eyes and nose. Don't apply any other skin lotions or creams to your face within one hour after applying the Retin-A. Leave on overnight.

Wash your face in the morning with a mild soap and exfoliating scrub to help eliminate any skin flaking. Apply a moisturizing cream to your face to help prevent drying and peeling of your skin from the Retin-A.

Tips & Warnings
Start by applying the Retin-A to your skin every Monday and Thursday night for two weeks. After that, increase the dosage to Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights for another two weeks, and then use every night. This gradual increase will help your skin adjust to the medication.
Use a sunscreen if you're going to be exposed to the sun or extreme weather.
You may experience some peeling or mild redness during the initial weeks of using Retin-A. If excessive drying, redness or broken blood vessels occur, stop using Retin-A and consult your doctor or dermatologist.
If Retin A gets inside your mouth, eyes or nose, wash those areas with warm water.
Avoid using Retin A on chapped, irritated, sunburned or broken skin.
