How to Adjust the Load Size on an LG Front Loader Washing Machine

Adjust the load size on an LG front loader washing machine based on preset cycles. Every cycle offers a unique spin speed, temperature, soil level and option. Customize cycles for large heavily soiled loads or small lightly soiled loads. The LG front load washing machine uses less water and energy than top load machines, while gently and thoroughly cleaning fabrics.

Instructions

1. Fill the LG front loading washing machine with clothes, linens or towels. Close the door and turn on the power.

2. Add the desired amount of detergent to the main wash detergent compartment. Add liquid bleach to the bleach compartment and liquid fabric softener to the fabric softener compartment.

3. Turn the cycle knob to the desired cycle type. Choose the cycle based on whether the load is heavily or lightly soiled, fabric type, and load size. Reduce wash time for small or lightly soiled loads by choosing the "Speed Wash" cycle and setting the soil level button to "Light."

4. Choose "Water Plus" for extra wash water. This adds more water for heavily soiled loads. "Extra Rinse" ensures removal of detergents and bleach. Press the "Start/Pause" button to turn on the washing machine.
