How to Use a Krups Cafe Espresso Machine
Krups is an international company that manufactures and sells kitchen appliances. Among these appliances is the cafe espresso machine, which makes espresso coffee. Espresso is a type of coffee brewed with more pressure and less water. This process creates a dark, rich coffee that has a light creme and a bitter taste. Unscrew and remove the boiler cap, located at the top of the machine, to reveal the tank.

Fill the pot with water to the maximum fill line. Pour the water into the tank. Screw the boiler cap back on to the machine.

Fit the metal filter into the filter holder and rotate clockwise to secure it tightly.

Fill the filter holder with coffee using the accompanying measuring spoon. One spoonful equals one cup of espresso. Tamp, or apply pressure to, the coffee with the back of a spoon. Brush excess coffee beans from the edges of the filter holder.

Place the filter in its slot within the appliance. Turn it from left to right to lock it in place.

Place the glass coffee carafe underneath the filter. Turn the selector knob to "Coffee." After 3 to 4 minutes the coffee will begin to brew. Wait until it stops dripping to remove the carafe. Turn the selector knob to "Off."
