1
Plan the location of the mirror. An exact location is important to obtaining the appropriate measurements. Choose the starting and ending points for the mirror's length along with the preferred area.
-
2
Measure the wall. Every building and home is different and dimensions will not always be the same. Use a measuring tape to determine the height and length of the area in inches. Write these measurements down.

Find a mirror in the appropriate height. Depending on the length of the mirror, the mirror might be found with the appropriate height and length or it might need to be bought in two or more sections. Mirrors without frames can often be found online or in various craft stores.

Determine how the mirror will attach to the wall. The mirror can either be framed with wood or other materials or it can be directly attached without a frame. A custom frame might need to be built depending on the size of the mirror and the frame size should be considered during measurements to ensure the frame can fit in the space. Otherwise, the mirror can be attached directly to a wall using glue. Make sure the glue is very strong. Small mirror installing hardware can be used as a back-up to the glue. These are slipped onto the corners and have four screws that drill into the wall.
