How to Set Up an HP Deskjet F4100 on a Network
The HP Deskjet F4100 is an all-in-one printer that not only is capable of printing documents but scanning and copying hard copy documents as well. If you have a network in your home or office, it is possible to hook up the HP Deskjet F4100 to the network, giving you the ability to use the printer on all of the computers connected to the network.

Insert the USB data cable into the USB port on the back of the HP printer, then insert the opposite end of the cable into one of the USB ports on the network router.

Power on the HP Deskjet F4100 printer, then insert the driver installation CD into one of the computers on the network. In a moment, the driver installation wizard will appear on the screen.

Follow the short series of prompts and click "Install" to install the drivers on the computer. A small window appears once you have finished, stating the driver is now installed on the computer.

Eject the CD and repeat the driver installation process on all computers connected to the system network.
