How to Get a Birth Certificate From Hilo, Hawaii

In the state of Hawaii, the state Department of Health is the government office that processes all requests for birth certificate copies. There is no office in Hilo that can process the request for birth certificates. While the Hawaii Department of Health has an office location in Hilo, Hawaii, all birth certificate requests go through the Honolulu office, on the island of Oahu. Even if you were born in Hilo, you still cannot get a birth certificate copy at the Hilo office.
