How to Learn English Letters Online
English letters are the root of written and spoken English, because you use them to create words, which create sentences that have meaning. In order to learn English, you must know and understand all of the letters in the 26 letter alphabet. Once you've mastered the letters, you can begin to learn how to write and spell words. You can learn to speak English by listening, without knowing the letters, but you cannot learn to write English without knowing them. You can learn English letters online.

Go to Learn English Online, listed in references. Click on "Basics" and then click on "Alphabet." You will see a list of the English letters. Click on each letter to hear the way it sounds, and to learn its name. A good idea is to write down the letters on paper as you learn them, and the site gives you an example of how to write each letter.

Visit Learn English.de if you are a German speaker, listed in resources, or an equivalent site if you speak another language. Click on "Alphabet' to see the English alphabet and the equivalent to each letter in your native language. From here, you can begin to put together small words and learn their meanings.

Go to 1 Language, listed in resources. Click on "Learn Letters" under the "Basic English" section. Click on each letter to hear the way it sounds, and to see examples of where it is used. Click on "Alphabet song" to hear the English Alphabet Song, which is often the way young English speakers memorize the order of the letters.
